About the book IBSENOVA DRUGA SCENA
… posrijedi je prva hrvatska ekstenzivna studija o Ibsenu, koji je u nas dosad uglavnom nailazio na sporadičan interes, čak i kada su u pitanju bila usporedbena istraživanja. U tome smislu knjiga nosi nekoliko prvenstava: prije svega, na posve inovativan način, čak i u međunarodnim okvirima, tumači kronološko susjedstvo Ibsena i psihoanalize, posvjedočeno ne samo uzbunom oko ibsenizma, kao pošasti koja je “histerizirala” onodobnu publiku, nego i ranim Freudovim pozivanjem na Ibsena te analizom Rosmersholma, koje autorica nadograđuje kasnijim Lacanovim elaboracijama; drugo, Ibsen, Pirandello i Begović ne vezuju se logikom utjecaja, nego kao da jedan drugoga čitaju, bez obzira tko kome prethodi ili tko koga nasljeduje; treće, cijela se diskusija oko nelagoda i civilizacijskih implikacija muško-ženskog družbeništva okončava prizivom dosad posve nerazaznatljivih tragova Platonova Simpozija, a sve preko krunskog modernističkog toposa, jednadžbe djeteta i rukopisa knjige.
