Ivan Vidak rođen je u Somboru 1981. godine. Diplomirao je dramaturgiju na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti u Zagrebu. Dosad je objavio zbirku priča Ugljik na suncu (2015.). Živi i radi u Zagrebu.
