About the book SLADOSTRAŠĆE
Sladostrašće Asje Bakić: što ako ovaj naslov ne označava nasladu nego pasiju, muku transformacije, preobrazbe u nešto drugo, nešto što možda još nema imena?
Ova je knjiga gusta, halucinantna i mračna pripovjedna mreža: neki budući (posthumani) barok u kojemu motivi fantastike i mitologije, politike i religije, književnih klasika i popularnih žanrova više nisu samo resursi za pričanje priča nego zaboravljeni programi otpora, rebusi privatnih opsesija, neaktivirani vremenski strojevi.
Vječito balansirajući na oštrici napetosti, humora i prijetnje, gdje od rečenice do rečenice raste osjećaj čitanja na vlastitu odgovornost (dobro poznat svima koji su čitali Mars), jedanaest priča Sladostrašća opisuje zagonetne procese kojima (anti)junakinja postaje “koža, rastegnuta preko užitka, napeta kao bubanj”. U svjetovima ove zbirke, to je koža koju “čovjek” dijeli s biljkom, strojem, životinjom, virusom: središnja će se drama odigrati ulaskom likova u atipične, neskriptirane odnose s drugima i radikalnim repozicioniranjem na skali postojanja.
