About the book STRIBORu2019UN ORMANI (na turskom jeziku)
"Stribors Forest" is with no doubt the most popular Croatian fairy tale, and its author, Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić (known as "Croatian Andersen" or "Slavic Tolkien") the most famous Croatian writer for children, if not - and many scholars would agree - the best author that Croatian literature ever had.
This is a story about love and sacrifice for others, loved by children and their parents. And also, a story about why long time ago magic was gone…
"Stribors Forest" is now available in Turkish language! The story was translated by Ayla Hafız Kucukusta, translation was redacted by Ekrem Čaušević, the book was edited by Esma Halepović Đečević, and published by Croatian-Turkish Association and Bulaja naklada, with the illustrations by Alistair Keddie from the cartoon "Stribors Forest", a part of award-winning multimedia project "Croatian Tales of Long Ago" by Bulaja naklada.
